Wintertime Fruit Salad

Ingredients:
1 (20 oz) can of pineapple chunks
1 (8oz) can of mandarin oranges, drained
1 small pack of instant vanilla pudding
1 (6oz) jar of maraschino cherries, drained and rinsed
2 ready-to-eat bananas
Instructions:
Prepare the pudding according to the package but use the pineapple juice instead of water. Mix together very well (removing as many lumps as possible).
Add drained pineapple, oranges, and cherries. Stir to coat all the fruit well.
Chill for several hours to allow flavors to blend and for mixture to thicken.
Before serving, thinly slice 2 bananas for the top of the salad.
