Frequently Asked Questions
-
No ID or proof of residence is required—bring yourself to shop at the food pantry!
-
No, there isn’t! On your first visit, you'll complete a simple form with your information and details about other members of your household. After that, for each visit, you just need to sign and date the back of the form at check-in. The form is updated once a year in October.
-
Households may come shop at the food pantry twice a month.
-
No appointment is needed. The pantry has a range of open hours to fit different schedules. It's usually busiest during the first 30 minutes after opening, so visiting later may result in a shorter wait time. Be sure to arrive at least 15 minutes before closing.
-
Only one person per household can shop at the pantry. However, you can designate a single proxy shopper to shop on your behalf if you are unable to do so.
-
For the safety of our volunteers and shoppers, if the River Falls Community School District cancels classes, the Food Pantry will be closed. Please check our Facebook page for updates during these winter weather events.
