Turkey Chili

Ingredients:

  • 2 quarts (8 cups) tomatoes (or 4 cans of 14 oz each)

  • 2 lbs ground turkey or ground beef, browned and drained

  • 2 medium onions, chopped

  • 1 can chili beans with sauce

  • 3 cans of beans, drained (pinto, kidney, black)

  • 3 tbsp chili powder

  • 1½ tsp salt

  • 1½ tsp pepper

  • 1 bag  frozen or can of corn (12-16 oz) 

Instructions:

  1. In a large pot, combine the tomatoes, browned turkey, and chopped onions.

  2. Add chili beans with sauce and the drained beans.

  3. Stir in chili powder, salt, and pepper.

  4. Let it simmer for about 30 minutes.

  5. Add frozen corn and cook for another 10 minutes.

  6. Serve with chips, sour cream, salsa, or cheese.
